The Opportunity: Head of Budget & Programming (NOC)
This senior-level role offers a unique opportunity to shape how WFP Zimbabwe manages resources and delivers impact. As Head of Budget & Programming, you will lead financial planning, donor reporting, and budget optimization to ensure every dollar goes further in the fight against hunger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage WFP Zimbabwe’s budgets in line with strategic priorities.
- Monitor funding pipelines and advise on resource allocation.
- Lead donor reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Supervise and mentor staff, building a high-performing finance team.
- Introduce innovations to improve budgeting, reporting, and accountability.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
To be successful, you will need:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Statistics.
- Proven experience in financial planning, resource management, or related fields.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Analytical expertise to identify funding gaps and optimize resource use.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
