About the Programme

The Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme is a flagship initiative supporting the Government of Bangladesh in fostering a citizen-centric culture of innovation. It aims to make public services more inclusive, affordable, reliable, and accessible, while accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The programme focuses on three main components:

  1. Institutionalizing public service innovation and improving accountability.
  2. Catalyzing digital financial services and fintech innovations.
  3. Incubating private sector-enabled public service innovation.

Under the first component, the programme works on multi-sectoral integration to improve vaccination systems and digital health service delivery, ensuring that marginalized communities and hard-to-reach populations are not left behind.


Role Purpose

The Project Analyst will join the Digital Health team and support the effective coordination and implementation of vaccination and health innovation projects. The role requires strong expertise in public health or health systems, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders to enhance service delivery and data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of health-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
  • Oversee field activities, monitoring progress and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategic activity plans, timelines, and risk management frameworks.
  • Supervise knowledge management activities and contribute to policy briefs for decision-makers.
  • Prepare high-quality progress reports for donors and agencies.
  • Coordinate roundtables, policy dialogues, workshops, and national dissemination events.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, development partners, and the private sector.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned, contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation platforms.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Global Health, Social Science, or a related field.
    • A Bachelor’s degree with an additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • No experience required for applicants with a Master’s degree.
    • At least two years of relevant experience for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Language:
    • Fluency in English and Bangla is required.

Desired Skills

  • Experience collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, INGOs, donor organizations, and research institutions.
  • Practical experience in health information systems, research, strategy development, and policy advocacy.
  • Proven ability to produce analytical documents, reports, and policy briefs.
  • Familiarity with international development agencies, think tanks, or academia is an advantage.
